Moving a steel plate off a [REDACTED] laser table using an overhead crane with chain sling and two manual lifting magnets.
What happened
Employee using his hand instead of a no touch tool to control the swing and movement of the steel plate he was unloading from the laser table. Employee grabbed the steel plate with his hand in a way that put his left fingers under the plate. He should have been using one of the no touch tools that are provided for these types of tasks.
