Before the incident
Servicing customers trash and packing the trash into the hopper body of the rear load truck by hydraulic means.
What happened
The helper was working on a rear load truck with a driver. They had backed into the end of a court on [REDACTED] and were servicing the last 2 addresses in the end of the court [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. As the driver initiated the hydraulic controls to pack the trash in the hopper the Helper stood up on the left side rear helper step. A can of spray paint in a black trash bag had a sudden pressure relief from the packer panel causing it to spray the contents inside onto the helper and side of the truck. The helper had his face and front torso covered in orange paint and had burning sensation along with trouble breathing.
