What happened
IE was working on hoses near the mudpumps. When IE was doing so his left middle finger was mashed between the hose hobble clamp bolt and mud pump skid. IE was wearing impact gloves at the time. Xrays were taken and IE suffered a laceration requiring 5 stitches and an open fracture to the distal phalanx of the left middle finger. IE was give antiobiotics a tetanus how and a splint to wear for 10 days. IE was released to work at a slower pace.
