While in the operating room and closing the fasicia Dr. dropped a [REDACTED] off the field. Staff member went to reach for it to try to catch it and felt the needle poke her left ring finger. She was not sure until after the case when she took off her second set of gloves and there was blood that the needle did go through and poked her.
