[REDACTED] was assisting with a blood draw. Patient was extremely confused and agitated. Restraints removed to left arm for blood draw blood obtained and patient moved and caused [REDACTED] to bump into needle as it came out of the patient. [REDACTED] had on gloves which were poked through bleeding to right thumb. Washed hands per protocol.
