Before the incident

I am a LPN with Rheumatology Neurology Nephrology Formscompletion who was in the cafeteria getting food when I heard a loudcrash and screaming coming from the kitchen. I ran in and an employeewas covered in a liquid and meat particles attempting to wipe the liquidfrom her clothing and taking her shoes off. Her manager and other teammembers were present for assistance. A chair was obtained by hermanager so we could get her out of the area of hot liquid. I instructed herteam members to wet a towel and squeeze the cool water onto the areasof burns to which was applied to the areas affected. I assisted her tocarefully remove her sock from the affected foot to prevent the sock fromadhering to the area. The employee states she was taking a hot pan fromthe oven that contained meat grease liquid and had spilled it on herself.The employee had visible areas of reddening and blisters beginning toform on her chest and top of her foot.
