[REDACTED] 47 dock plate malfunctioned when employee was on it. Employee lost balance and fell between dock plate and trailer being unloaded. [REDACTED] was assisting mail handlers unload [REDACTED] on dock #47 when the dock plate malfunctioned and sprung up. E. 's and the drivers weight alone was not enough to hold the dock plate down causing [REDACTED] to lose his balance and fall in between the dock plate and the trailer being unloaded. He had an abrasion swelling and some bruising.
