Before the incident
Employee was in process of emptying a trash hopper into the dumpster. This was being accomplished with the use of a fork truck.
What happened
Employee had positioned the hopper up to the dumpster. The employee moved to the release handle on the hopper to dump the contents into the dumpster. As he prepared to pull the dump release he put his left hand in a pinch point between the forks on the lift and the hopper. When the handle was released the hopper rocked forward pinching his finger between the hopper and the forks.
