What happened
The motor went out on Palletizer 1 which would not allow the pallets to be loaded automatically. 2 employees were hand lifting the pallets and top tiers onto the palletizer loader for the cans to be layered. When employee 1 placed the pallet on the railing employee 2 would reach across the line to pull the pallet across the line and set it to load. When employee 2 reached over the line he felt a pop and immediate pain to the rib area. He immediately administered ice to the area. Employee visited the ER and was given a prescription for muscle relaxer and an anti -inflammatory medication. Employee is released to full duty and no days away. Drug and alcohol panels are pending.
