What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] local time on [REDACTED] during [REDACTED] the AMT alleged that they felt a sharp pain in their back after attempting to stand up. The AMT was performing a wake up check on aircraft [REDACTED] when they allegedly noticed a life vest dislodged from seat 33A. They knelt down crawled between the seats and laid down to replace the life vest cover. After they replaced the cover they rose to a kneeling position and from that position attempted to stand. While attempting to stand they noticed a sharp pain in their lower back that never went away. The incident was not reported until [REDACTED] Lost time and Rx
