Injury or illness
At approximately 06:45am IP was working on the Weiler machine indicating the chuck. This involves having to manually turn the chuck to center and tighten the bar in the chuck. IP was watching the indicator gauge while turning the chuck to ensure the bar was centered in the machine. During the process of rotating the chuck IP 's finger was caught between the wrench and machine guard. The IP was wearing impact gloves with dorsal protection at the time of the incident.
