What happened
Employee was swinging a hammer to make a pole carrier fit on a [REDACTED]. While attempting to swing the hammer in an upward motion he didn 't make contact with the pole carrier which resulted in him striking his safety glasses with the hammer. The broken safety glasses created a laceration under his left eye. The employee was provided first aid and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
