On [REDACTED] at approx [REDACTED] a 3rd shift warehouse technician with approx 1 month of service (DOH9624) was working in the order picker function The EE was picking pails at location AB2472 when they set a bucket down on pallet they did not remove their hand quick enough and their left ring finger became smashed between two buckets Axiom was called and EE agreed to FA measures EE was allowed intermittent time on the shift to complete the necessary FA measures EE then continued to work in the order picker function Axiom EE discussed symptoms on 102924 requested felt like the EE should be evaluated as symptoms persisted HSHS occ health completed evaluation on 103124 keeping it as a FA onlypending the results of the xray Xray results were positive for a nondisplaced fracture of the left ring fingertip (past the last joint) Occ Health provider described the fracture as a crack no bone protruding outside the normal structure of the finger bone
