What happened

Employee was moving a platform near the furnace for the contractors that were removing refractory dust debris from the furnace. Employee then stood next to the fan and a plume of dust debris was pushed by the fan towards the employee. The employee felt the dust debris go under their safety glasses and into their right eye.
