Before the incident
EE was standing on Hot Top cart placing a can on a freshly poured 40222. AS EE used the hoist to put the can over the grate shell they used their left hand for the hoist control and their right hand to steady the can. The can hit the edge of the grate causing the can to shift abruptly resulting in EEs right ring finger being caught between the can and the back of the furnace door
