EMPLOYEE AND PARTNER IN TRUCK WERE DOING A DISCHARGE FROM [REDACTED] TO A RESIDENCE IN [REDACTED] THE PATIENT HAD A LONG DRIVEWAY THAT WAS PLOWED BUT NOT SALTED THERE WAS A LOT OF ICE AND OUR TRUCK WASNT GETTING TRACTION SO WE WERE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVEWAY EMPLOYEE AND PARTNER SWITCHED TO SEE IF EMPLOYEE COULD MANAGE TO DRIVE UP BUT IT DID NOT WORK EMPLOYEE WAS WALKING AROUND THE AMBULANCE TO SEE WHAT WE COULD DO WE KNEW THE DRIVEWAY WAS ICY SO WE WERE TAKING SMALL SLOW STEPS WHILE I WAS AT THE BACK OF THE AMBULANCE EMPLOYEE TOOK ANOTHER SMALL STEP AND SLID ON THE LEFT SIDE OF FACE RIGHT UNDER EYE HIT THE METAL STEP ON THE BACK OF THE AMBULANCE AFTER GETTING UP EMPLOYEE FELT A LOT OF PAIN AND SWELLING THERE IS ALSO A LARGE SCRAPE UNDER EMPLOYEES EYE
