What happened
MAINTENEANCE TEAM [REDACTED] WAS USING A MANUAL PRESS TO PRESS AN INTERNAL BUSHING OUT OF A GEAR BOX. HE HAD A SOCKET WITH AN EXTENSION BRACED AGAINST THE INTERNAL BUSHING AND WAS USING THE PRESS TO PUSH DOWN ON THE EXTENSION. THE BUSHING REQUIRED MANY THRUSTS TO COME LOOSE AND WHEN IT GAVE WAY THE BUSHING SLIPPED OUT OF THE BOTTOM AND THE SOCKET WITH EXTENSION SLIPPED DOWN AND HIS INDEX FINGER WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE RAM AND THE GEARBOX.
