Employee performed [REDACTED] before checking out entry coil car on #1 Slitter

Maintenance was called to #1 Slitter Entry Coil Car to check the oil levels. After they performed LOTO two employees entered the coil car zone to lift plate up to release latch to pull cover plate back. One employee was on southwest corner of plate and the other was on the southeast corner of plate. They lifted the south end of plate up to release and slide plate back north on track. This is when the employee stated they felt a burning crunching in the lower left bicep area. Plate weighs approximately 150 pounds. Employee finished work at Slitter and went to next job. He then reported to manager. Employee was transported to Genesis Orthopedics First Care for evaluation.
