Operating remote crane
What happened
Remote crane operator was loading scrap from designated scrap area into scrap rail car with magnet. Operator was positioned on top platform of rolling stairs while operating crane. Operator was placing scrap in furthest car east. As the operator began to bridge back west to scrap area they turned their back to the crane facing west and did not stop magnet from trolleying north. As crane bridged west magnet struck rolling stairs and tipped stairs. Employee fell against barrier with right arm.
