At approximately [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] a maintenance employee was in the process of removing pusher screw on [REDACTED] extruder 2. A pneumatic ratchet was being used to complete this task. While operating the pneumatic ratchet the threads of the pusher screw became bound causing the employee to be struck in the face by the jack screw. Employee 's supervisor was immediately notified. Employee was evaluated by on site EMT 's and transported off site for medical treatment.
