Before the incident
Maintenance employee was working on a material jam issue in the PRA department when the incident occurred. He was between the scrubber tank and spin dryer at station # 8.
What happened
Maintenance employee climbed up on the ladder to open the top plate lid to see down into the tank and feeder system that feeds the spin dryer. When he had removed the 3rd or 4th nut from the lid hot caustic water splashed onto his right thigh and leg area.
