off loading glass

Two employees were offloading a 3 8 lite of glass off the castor table to an A-frame. The glass slipped out of one of the employee 's hands and the glass broke across to the other side creating a jagged edge that came down and punctured the employee through the glove liner and tuff n lite into their left wrist. The employee did not try to catch the glass but could not move his hands out of the way soon enough. The employee received first aid by the safety manager in the first aid room by applying trauma gauze with pressure on the wrist until the ambulance arrived. The employee was seen at Mercy Hospital ER where they received 3 stitches and is scheduled to see a surgeon to rule out any damage inside the employees arm.
