Before the incident
TM was team lifting a 450 lbs. unit with a PGT tech and 2 Vero Glass techs
What happened
The [REDACTED] team were all on site at a service WO67059 in [REDACTED] to replace a very large piece of CGIC glass in a private home. We also had some help from the dealer Vero Glass. There were 4 men lifting the glass to install it into the frame 2 of our techs and 2 of theirs. Because of the way the frame is mulled together there are fasteners that stick out and need to be avoided when placing the glass. Because this is a larger piece and weighing around 450lbs. It took some effort. Just as the glass was about to be fully in place it rubbed on the top and caused a reaction where the glass was almost dropped. When that happened where [REDACTED] was positioned he had to use his knee to hold it. It was such a quick reaction he hit the glass with some force and that is where I believe the injury occurred.
