When lifting motor drive belt the associate did not properly lift motor drive in the upright position The associate had placed his right hand on the film spindle in the middle section and his left on the motor to lift When it did not lock into place it came down and landed on the associates right hand causing a laceration and bruising on his right thumb Injury required stitches to close the wound
