The employee was having a discussion with and helping the area packager.
What happened
An employee (Employee A) was helping the Packager (Employee B) by pre-threading PET strapping through a pallet while the Packager was drilling the necessary holes in the pallet. Employee A precut and fed the strapping through the gap between the top and bottom boards at the back of the pallet. He then went to the front alongside Employee B and reached into the gap at the same area where and when the drill made its way through the board. The drill grabbed onto and cut into Employee A 's gloved right hand. (Time [REDACTED] - Treated at ER [REDACTED])
