Jointing Heads
What happened
Employee was needing to joint the first bottom head. Employee followed all lockout procedures to joint the head. After returning machine to proper power and test the results of the jointing process employee noticed the material was not being cut by the head anymore. Employee turned the power off again but did not put a lock on however he removed the guarding and failed to look at the head and realized it was still in motion. When employee placed hands underneath the left hand came in contact with the head that was still in motion.
