Aligning [REDACTED]

On [REDACTED] during steel erection on 13 line between grid lines F and G a crane operator and two connectors ([REDACTED] and [REDACTED]) were performing a beam connection. [REDACTED] was positioned at one end of the beam and [REDACTED] on the other and opposing sides. [REDACTED] was using a spud wrench to align his end of the beam and prepare to install bolts. They were attempting to high low the beam to get it into position. [REDACTED] was on the other end of the beam which had become wedged on the column. [REDACTED] radioed to the crane operator to cable up slightly to help free the beam. When the crane lifted the beam [REDACTED] 's end moved because no bolts had yet been installed he was attempting to reach around to install the bolts. This motion caused the beam to shift and push the beam and column towards the wall. [REDACTED] 's finger was between the wall and the column and this is when his finger was caught and a laceration occurred. Immediate action was taken work stopped fir
