Stepping down on load

On [REDACTED] the involved employee stepped off a fully loaded bundle of beams onto a trailer when his foot slipped. As a result he landed foot-first on the trailer and experienced immediate sharp pain in his left knee. Despite the discomfort the employee was able to dismount the trailer without assistance and continued working. Approximately two hours after the incident the employee reported increased pain and discomfort to both his supervisor and the Safety Manager. The Safety Manager responded by providing an ice pack for the affected area. After further evaluation of his condition the employee elected to contact his emergency contact and proceeded to seek medical attention at a hospital.
