What happened
IW was assisting nurse with patient care while the patient was in the safekeeper. IW was trying to help patient to get into an optimal position to administer medication and give him his morning tube feed. IW was blocking patient 's arm from making contact with the nurse when the patient went to strike IW 's right knee. IW told the nurse and floor supervisor after taking care of the patient in the safekeeper that his knee felt sore to bend and slightly swollen.
