Before the incident
Strapping down A-Frame
What happened
Our team member was strapping down a [REDACTED]-144 A-frame and securing the glass for in-house transport. As he maneuvered the tie down strap over the glass he pulled strained his left shoulder neck muscle. The team member reported the discomfort to our Lead and Supervisor. The Lead and Supervisor provided ice packs to the affected area for a couple hours. The team member took some ibuprofen but pain remained at an __REDA[REDACTED]TED__ and wanted to be seen by a doctor. We took the team member to hospital to be evaluated the doctor determined it was a neck strain. The team member was given a prescription for muscle relaxers [REDACTED]yclobenzaprine and 1 day off to recover. Because of the prescription medication and 1 day off this will be a recordable lost time injury.
