What happened

Employee was working on the batteries for the cart movers on offline. He noticed a battery had some exposed wires he covered the wires with electrical tape and while doing so he used a cutting tool they have on offline to cut the tape. He was holding the battery with his left hand and did not notice the tip of the plastic tool was broken and the blade was exposed. He then cut the tape but ended up getting a cut between the middle and ring finger webbing. Employee got taken to the first aid room to get checked and cleaned up but since the cut was between the fingers webbing [REDACTED] ended up taking him to the hospital.
