Before the incident
Slotting a unit on a bungee rack
What happened
EE was working at the line [REDACTED] sealer. He was slotting a unit onto a 52short. When he was placing the unit into the rack he had his right leg on the rack and his left leg on the floor. Once he put the unit into the slot he turned to his left and caught his right knee on the corner of the unit. EE called a first responder to meet him in the medical room. The first responder cleaned the laceration. The first responder didn t see any glass in he cut. We called the safety manager and told her what happened and informed he has a deep laceration. We decided to take him to Skyline hospital where EE received 5 stiches and a shot. EE didn t feel any pain when he got the laceration. EE was wearing all his proper PPE at the time of the incident. The unit was 15 [REDACTED]5 6[REDACTED] x 39 1 6[REDACTED] glass thickness 2.8clr on 2.8E180 channel 13.0 and the wight was 12 pounds.
