Lifting supporting a box overhead
What happened
Employee claims he was lifting a box of channel to reposition it. There were two stacked on top of each other. The open box was on the bottom; closed on top. He was moving the top box to the right for better access. Afterward his shoulder began to hurt. He spoke with the safety coordinator and got signed up for Industrial Massage treatments. After 4-5 sessions the employee claimed that it still gave him some pain and wanted to have it x-rayed. The supervisor was not informed and no incident report was completed. Unknown if the injury occurred at work.
