Before the incident
Pulling an A-frame to the crane area of Line 1 shipping and bumped the junk rack causing a unit to fall.
What happened
An associate in Line 1 shipping was pulling an empty A-frame through the staging area which was very congested to the crane when they bumped the junk rack. When they bumped the junk rack a unit fell and the natural reaction of the associate was to try to catch it without gloves on. This caused a laceration to the left side of their right thumb. Associate was given first aid to control the bleed and then transported to the ER where they received 12 stitches.
