What happened
At [REDACTED] the employee was cleaning up the scrap green banding at the feed end of line 8. The process is for the scrap to be cut into smaller pieces and disposed of into a barrel for recycling. The EE was holding the scrap green banding with his left hand while cutting the banding with his right. While pulling the banding through his left hand the banding cut his left hand at the base of his index finger. Ortholive was performed and due to the location they recommended seeking medical attention. [REDACTED] met the EE at the facility and transported him to the ER of his choice. The EE was treated at the ER where he received three stitches.
