Responding to pile up on tempering line.
What happened
While EE was responding to a pile up in the quench he struck his left hand on a railing causing immediate discomfort. EE was reaching for the railing when his left ring finger hit the rail first causing it to jam into the knuckle. EE went to the ER and the base of the finger into the knuckle was found to be broken. Pending further appointment to asses the need for a hard cast. Recordable accident.
