Restraining Patient

On [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] I CSO was dispatched to a call in the [REDACTED] for an aggressive patient coming in to be treated. The patient: was brought in on an Emergency Detention Order by HPD. The patient was brought to [REDACTED] 17 by nursing staff HPD and security staff. While nursing staff was giving medication the patient continuously threw his head around multiple times. I attempted to my hand under his chin to keep his head in place so he wouldnt hurt himself or others. The patient managed to wiggle his chin down and bit my hand and broke skin. I continued to help my team with getting the patient into hospital restraints and when the patient was finally calm I reported the bite to my supervisors. I checked into the [REDACTED] where blood work was done and antibiotics were prescribed.
