Administering Rabies Vaccine

I administered the rabies vaccine to the patient and as I pulled the needle out of her arm with my right hand and was trying to activate the safety cover I believe my hand may have gotten bumped and as a result I accidentally stuck my left index finger with the needle. I was wearing gloves at the time and when i took them off my finger bled. The patient did not sustain any injury.
