What happened
The Mom and patient came in to check in for an [REDACTED] EEG appointment the patent was yelling spitting and throwing his [REDACTED] and Mom 's cell phone. I was able to check them in and they had a seat. The patient began to open the door throw the phone hit his mom and spit in her face. I asked Mom if he would like to color or play with some toys that we have here. She stated that he is afraid of the doctor. I told [REDACTED] that we are not the doctor 's office and we won 't hurt him that he will just take a nap. He continued to push the trash can over yell spit at his Mom. She called several people on her cellphone to talk to him also calm him down. After the call was over he continued to spit in her face several times again then he slapped Mom and broke her glasses. As she was crying and he grabbed her phone and threw it at me. The phone hit my camera and then hit my right ring finger pinky finger and my right wrist. Mom apologized and I gave her back her phone and I called my ma
