What happened
I was preparing for emergence of the patient. I went to remove the skin temp probe from the left axilla. I noted my left ring finger was poked. I asked another EE if one of their needles was out because something poked my finger and they said no they were still in and taped on the arm not in the armpit where my hand was. I 'm unsure of what poked me but I felt it and once I removed my glove and noted a poke spot on my finger that broke the skin and drew blood. I washed my hands with soap and water and notified manager and the ouchline.
