What happened
While clearing a jam at the box pusher at the entrance of the CL palletizer the maintenance mechanic reported that the sensor showed no errors and appeared to have no power. Believing it was safe he reached in to remove the box at which point the pusher activated pinning his hand between the conveyor and the pusher. This resulted in a two-inch laceration to the back of his hand.
