Worker felt his finger pop while reaching into a parts storage bin when he had been counting parts in the slotted parts drawers for 2-3 hours . His fingers were pinched when he felt a pop in his left index finger MCP joint accompanied by pain; he kept counting. Later noticed pain was present later in evening of [REDACTED] & morning of [REDACTED] triggered by pinching and gripping. Notified EHS & Sup. @ [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. Offered OT w Rising Workplace but he wants a more definitive diagnosis due to similar feeling in his left middle finger MCP joint [REDACTED] (not work related) that took 3-4 months to heal
