What happened

Employee states I was preparing discharge packets for patients which included gel packs and other items. While doing so I began itching and washed my hands and continued putting the packets together. Shortly after I developed a rash with burning sensation on my hands which spread to my chest and elbow folds. The charge nurse advised me to go to the ER for further evaluation. The rash has resolved.
