Removing rubber sleeve on anti-tipper

What happened

[REDACTED] was assembling a manual wheelchair with its attachments for a delivery. Was putting on the anti tippers was removing the rubber sleeve that is on the anti tippers. He was using a box cutter holding the anti-tipper in his left had and and cutting towards himself. After cutting the rubber sleeve on the tipper the knife blade continued through and cut into his left palm. He immediately went to the restroom rinsed it wrapped it in paper towels and applied pressure. He then came to my office to let me know of what happened. [REDACTED] said he was going to go to the hospital I asked [REDACTED] to drive him to the ER. They were at the ER for 3 hours. [REDACTED] received 12 stitches and it was told to go home for the day by the Dr. also recommended by the Dr. to take 2 days off of work but not required. The Dr. advised him to wear gloves to have the hand covered while working. Stitches will be removed in 7-10 days and want him to follow up with his primary care Dr. [REDACTED] was gi
