Employee raised the guard over the infeed and slicer did come to a stop Then the employee reached too far into the slicer area without wearing PPE cut resistant gloves and his right middle finger ran down one of the slicer blades cutting it open at the tip this resulted in a small laceration to the tip of the right middle finger.
