Before the incident
I was standing on the R side of the patients bed holding them on their side while another RN cleaned their backside and changed the linen under them. I had my left arm supporting their shoulders up and my Right arm supporting their hips.
What happened
The patient was pushing back against my arms as they were uncomfortable at the time. I felt a pull in my back and R shoulder as we struggled to keep them on their side.
