Before the incident
Working with Trainer in [REDACTED] #2 attempting to attach hose to air nozzle to blow out the excess water before putting hose on accumulator. No other tools in use.
What happened
EE was having difficulty securing the hose to the nozzle and his trainer thought the clamp might be closed. Without knowing EE 's finger(s) were in an access hole the trainer activated the clamp thinking he was opening it but it in fact closed on EE 's finger.

Smashing of the left middle finger resulting in a fracture stitches prescription pain meds tetanus shot and restrictions.
