Before the incident
walking up to patient house
What happened
Therapist arrived at pt 's home for a scheduled PT visit. The home was a trailer with a small fenced in yard. No dogs were present outside. When therapist knocked on the door 4 dogs came running out of the back side of the house via a dog door and ran up towards the front door and attacked me. At the time I had an open umbrella which I was able to use to somewhat shied myself. One of the dogs bit me in the (L) medial thigh while others were jumping and scratching at me. I was able to back up with the umbrella in front of me and get out of the gate. The owner of the home came outside to see what had happened and secured the dogs. The owner stated he had forgotten about the PT visit.
