Just completed Bladder Scan on patient before beginning bowel cleanup.

What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately 0000 Hrs. I was assisting RN [REDACTED] with the patient in room 6114. After a bladder scan revealed the need for a straight cath we found the patient needed to be cleaned up after having a large bowel movement. We raised the bed to an acceptable working height and had the patient roll towards their right-side facing Rn [REDACTED] (towards the window). I then had access to begin cleaning the patient as I was standing on the patients ' left side of their bed. I was using my left hand to clean the patient with wipes. The patient 's bowel movement was large and was caked on in areas requiring a t least 30-40 minutes to clean up. Afterwards RN [REDACTED] completed the necessary straight cath. I felt no discomfort at the time but began to feel an ache in my right lower back at approximately 0200 hrs. I stretched and attempted to relieve the ache but by 0500hrs it had turned into a pain whenever I sat or stood for too long. At approx. [REDACTED] I began icing m
