Before the incident
Placing metal stringers into a welding jig.
What happened
A large Carver brand welding clamp was placed on the stinger and jig. The stringer needed to be moved slightly as it was not aligned properly. A hammer was used to knock the stringer into place. When hammer struck stringer the clamp slipped off of the stringer. This resulted in the clamp hitting the left middle index finger on the tip.

Smashed finger nail and caused some lacerations around the nail area.
